Out of the Darkness Theatre Company’s (ODTC) summer show, ODTC Goes to the Movies is a fully original work written and directed by the staff and members.

Out of the Darkness works with people with learning differences and disabilities to boost their confidence through performance and production work.

The new show is based around scenes from the members’ favourite films and have been rewritten with the company’s unique style.

All of the work for this production, including costume, props, and video and sound effects, has been done by the members of the company through the various groups they run.

The group celebrated their 30th anniversary last year with their original Disney-themed pantomime, The Good, The Bad, and The Disnae.

A charity concert was held at Elgin Town Hall in June where local musicians performed and raised £1100 for the company.

ODTC Goes to the Movies will be held at the group's headquarters at Wards Road, Elgin on Wednesday, August 16 and Thursday, August 17.

Tickets are available to purchase now on Ticketsource: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/whats-on/elgin/out-of-the-darkness-theatre-company.
