Lossie Wynd in Elgin to close for 5 days in New Year

Lossie Wynd in Elgin is set to close for five days during January while work takes place on the road.

Moray Council has announced the route off Elgin High Street is scheduled to shut between Friday, January 7 and Tuesday, January 11.

During that period "ironwork reinstatement" will take place – which could include either manhole covers, road gullies, or both.

The council adds: "Site Notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative route applicable."
