Chivas Brothers announces partnership scheme to help local rivers

THE company behind the Glenlivet and Aberlour whiskies is set to work with local trusts working to restore Moray's rivers.

To coincide with World Water Day, this week the global Scotch whisky business launches its new sustainability partnership with the three River Trusts to protect and preserve some of Scotland’s iconic rivers and riverbanks. The long-term ‘River Within’ partnership will focus on projects that help limit the rise of water temperatures, restore floodplain resilience, and increase river security.
